Uniting global sound healers.Supporting communities.Creating a better world.

A non-profit association connecting practitioners, trainers, schools, centers and organizations — creating opportunities to learn and collaborate, encouraging responsible practice, and supporting social and community initiatives.

Who we are

A non-profit umbrella for a practice that spans the world

GSHA is a fully non-profit umbrella organization that brings sound healers from Nepal and around the world together on one common platform.

It exists to unite the sound healing and singing bowl associations operating in Nepal, and to connect them with practitioners, centers and schools worldwide — in a spirit of service, compassion and collective growth.

The GSHA professional journey

Teach. Practice. Lead.

After the applicable training, members progress from Trainer to Sound Healer and Master as they build experience. Each step is subject to GSHA requirements and evaluation — never automatic.

How progression works
  1. Starting point

    Applicable training

Many members begin as Trainee members — learning, participating and developing before entering the professional pathway.

  2. Teach • Guide • Develop

    Trainer

    After completing the applicable training

A professional grade for individuals who have completed the applicable training and meet GSHA’s requirements to enter the Trainer pathway.

    About Trainer

About 2 years: A minimum of approximately two years of Trainer experience is required before a member is eligible to progress toward Sound Healer, subject to GSHA requirements and evaluation.

  3. Practice • Serve • Grow

    Sound Healer

After about 2 years of Trainer experience, subject to evaluation

A professional recognition level for practitioners who have developed the required experience and meet GSHA’s requirements.

    About Sound Healer

About 3 years: After approximately three years as a Sound Healer, a member may become eligible to apply for Master-level recognition, subject to GSHA requirements and evaluation.

  4. Lead • Teach • Contribute

    Master

After about 3 years as a Sound Healer, subject to evaluation

An advanced recognition level for experienced practitioners who have progressed through the GSHA pathway.

    About Master

Progression is based on more than time. Each step considers experience, knowledge, practical competency, documentation and contribution, and is subject to GSHA’s requirements and assessment — membership alone does not grant a professional level.

Sound & wellbeing

Sound, listening and rest

Sound healing uses singing bowls, gongs and the voice, together with attentive listening, to help people slow down and rest.

GSHA works to reduce stress and support mental wellbeing through sound healing and the holistic practices around it — meditation and yoga among them — and to share them with care.

Sound healing supports relaxation and wellbeing. It does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.

Global network

Rooted in Nepal. Open to every country.
