Evaluation and certification
Recognition is earned through evaluation. Here is how the process works, what you receive, and what each GSHA status means.

Six stages of evaluation
- 1
Application
The applicant chooses a membership and describes their training and experience.
- 2
Experience assessment
Training records and the length of experience at each level are reviewed.
- 3
Competency evaluation
Knowledge and practical skill are assessed in a way appropriate to the level.
- 4
Recognition decision
GSHA confirms the professional level recognized: Trainer, Sound Healer or Master.
- 5
Certificate and ID
A numbered certificate and identification materials are issued where applicable.
- 6
Verification and listing
The certificate becomes publicly verifiable and the member may appear in the directory.
